Southeastern Louisiana junior goalkeeper Lacey Bockhaus (San Leandro, Calif.) – who stopped all 20 shots she faced spanning clutch Southland Conference 1-0 wins over Texas-San Antonio and Texas State – has been named the CS360 Primetime Player of the Week for Division I women's soccer, as selected by CollegeSoccer360.com (for the week of Oct. 18-24). Bockhaus is joined by 14 other players in comprising the CS360 Primetime Performers of the Week (see full list below), the 10th group of honorees for the 2010 season.

Lacey Bockhaus A-230

Southeastern Louisiana junior goalkeeper Lacey Bockhaus (left) delivered in the clutch throughout the weekend action, saving all 20 shots she faced in a pair of tense 1-0 wins – over league leader Texas-San Antonio and two-time Southland Conference champ Texas State (preseason favorite) – as the Lions moved atop the SLC standings.

The strong play of Bockhaus has helped vault the Lions to five straight wins and the top position in the Southland Conference (5-1-1; 12-2-3 overall). The veteran netminder turned in an impressive 13-save shutout on Oct. 22, for a tense 1-0 win over a UTSA squad that was leading the league at gametime. Two days later, Bockhaus added seven more saves in a similar pressure-packed 1-0 game – as the Lions moved atop the league standings with the win over two-time defending Southland champion and preseason favorite Texas State.

In addition to her 20-save weekend and pair of shutouts, Bockhaus had to deal with plenty of other action in front of her – as the Roadrunners and Bobcasts combined for 36 total shots and 11 corner kicks.

Bockhaus ranks among the national leaders with a 0.57 season goals-against average. Her eight shutouts give her 29 in her career (a Southland Conference record).

Selection for the CS360 weekly awards is based on any/all of the following "primetime" criteria (i.e. not solely based on raw stats):

• In general, preference is given based on the quality of the opponent and situational factors involved in the player's accomplishments.
• Must have been playing in a game involving a top-50 team from the CS360 Composite National Rankings (or a conference favorite/leader), or performed at a high level in a game that is key to the team's postseason qualification.
• Exhibited strong leadership and/or Involved in clutch performances, such as gamewinning goals, noteworthy comebacks, late scores, team leadership, etc.
• Overcame adversity or extreme circumstances (for the team and/or individual).

• Bonus consideration is given for key performances away from team's home field.

The 15 week-10 selections include five defenders, four forwards, four goalkeepers and two midfielders. They feature seven seniors, four juniors, two sophomores and two freshmen. The honorees include three players from the home state of Michigan, plus two Californians and one each from 10 other home states/foreign countries: Colorado, Florida Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, New York, Norway, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Texas.
